Welcome to The Fields of Dimensions Expansion Pack Project:
The Fields of Dimensions Expansion Project (FoD for short) is one of the biggest mods known to have been in the works for Minecraft. This mod blends all of the swashbuckling adventures of an RPG game with the infinite creativity one can get from Minecraft.
The Ender dragon having been killed, you come to notice that the Ender has changed and that Endermen have gained sentience. Through the knowledge that this ancient race gives you you discover that you are not alone as you once thought, for indeed there are many mysterious worlds in the deepness of the Void.
This Expansion Pack adds new weapons, ores, utensils, portals, mobs, blocks and basically reshapes the way Minecraft works without changing the joy of being original. Everything can be approached with any tactic you want!

As of this moment, the Pack is still a Project. Therefore we need artists and coders. Fan art and skins are more than welcome and suggestions are what we are fueled by!

Hello, craftman1021 here! Glad to see you guys didn't give up! I do have an idea for a future mod update: Albino Endermen! The story of the Albin Endermen - Long ago, the adventurous men went out into the dangers of The Nether and The End. However, some of them made it to the Snow Dimension (I thought of a cool name for the Snow Dimension: Glacieria.) For years these men explored Glacieria, changing their course of evolution into Albino Endermen! Albino Endermen are only found in Glaceria, behave like normal Endermen, but they're completly white with red eyes, making them hard to spot in the deep snows of Glacieria.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your suggestion! It sounds like a good Idea. We already had a snow world in mind so the Albino Endermen will most likely be added there. We just released Alpha 0.1, if you want to see. It is only the base for the future game, we will be adding all the universes later!

ReplyDeleteHmm. Maybe zimapoust? That is Czech for "Cold Wasteland". Idk why I did Czech, it seemed like a good, un-common language.
ReplyDeleteMe and PenitusVox have thought of the best name for the snow dimension: Gelidus Inferos, which is Latin for "Cold Underworld" or "Cold Hell".
DeleteI have thought of the Lore of the Enderdragon and The End: Long ago, eons before Steve was created, a Dark Lord rised. His name was Obsidark. Obsidark wanted to kill everyone and reserect them into horrible undead slaves. He torchered the men for years, scaring them and attacking them. The men rebelled and pushed Obsidark into a wormhole leading into a dimension of pure darkness. Here, Obsidark created his home, planning to get his revenge. With this he created a terrible dragon with deadly powers. Then Obsidark created a new dimension with his horrible power. He named this dimension, The End, for that's what it was. He sent his dragon to The End, and lured men into The End with treasure and adventure. There the men were transformed by darkness into Endermen, inslaved by Obsidark. For years they stayed there. Only a creation known as Steve might have a chance of saving the men, defeating the dragon, and finding Obsidark to remove darkness for good.
ReplyDeleteThere should be a Universe where its enormous trees! The sky cannot be seen because its covered by leaves (kind of like the roof of the Nether). There should be enormous tree trunks and when the mini boss is defeated there could be building inside the trees

DeleteI had the idea of making an Ebony ore in the Nether. It would be around gold/diamond rarity. However, Nether Warriors could have a rare-ish chance of dropping "Ebony Shards" which could be smelted to make Ebony Ingots, which in turn can make Ebony Armor (The armor the Nether Warriors are wearing on their skin)

We should add a Brazite Ore,a ore in the nether,picks can put in fire the block you are mining with right click,swords can put in fire the mob if it touch it,Axes can put things in fire like the pick and can mine leaves.(all the tools can put fire with right click and can be used to make blocks and a block ,which if receive a redstone signal burns,can be used in traps.)

DeleteI think we need an item called a "Spawn Totem". It binds your spawn point to where it is. However, if you just place it, it does nothing. You need to activate it somehow (through an item or just right clicking) and in doing so, you lose one third of your current hearts. This is so people don't just slap 'em down when they are about to die.
ReplyDeleteAnother think is, I thought of a way to get rid of the Dragon egg problem. In the Enderpeople's temple there would be spaces for each of the portals, and a Enderegg looking item would be floating in the middle of an alter. All you would need to do is build the frame of the portal (doesn't matter which space it is in) and connect the "Fools-egg"'s (due to it not actually being the real ender egg) power and open the portal. The question is: how?
perhaps placing the blocks needed to make the portal and then flipping a switch to activate them in their proper place?

Yeti - Ice giant dude, he attacks by throwing snow at you or slugging you, his projectiles will turn into snow blocks when they land on the ground
Valkyrie - ice angel, friendly and will come to aid against other entities, but rarely spawns
Oxen like mob - similar to a cow, but maybe instead of leather it drops Fur or something? perhaps that could be used to obtain fur related items? Rugs, and other items like that
Minotaur - some kind of Villager type NPC? some tribes could be hostile while others would be perfectly fine with you and want to trade with you (like testificates and the ender villagers in the mod) dunno how or what they would trade though, maybe a barter system?
(boss character) An Ice wurm? probably cant burrow but it would still be able to snake along and bite you, it would be around medium length and have several destroyable segments, the head could be invulnerable making the segments the only way to kill it
Skyre (guessing some kind of sky dimension)
Pegasus - a flying horse that can be mounted possibly some type of enchanted carrot to tame, at which point they would be saddleable and therefore ridable
Arcane construct - guardians to temples in the skyre, but they are not able to be spawned or constructed by the player, they wont do much damage, just inflict Debuffs and occassionally slug the person trying to invade the temple
Harpies - winged women that attempt to knock players off their perches with their swooping attacks and their thrown feathers (misses could potentially be picked up)
Tree-ent - chop down a tree and you have a chance that it may turn out to be alive, it would try to slow you and kill you, but if you beat it
then you get some strange eldritch heartwood of something
(also do you guys need suggestions for more structures? Blocks? cause i can do those too :D)

ReplyDeleteSince I have now returned, I would suggest maybe getting ideas on Deploro. His dimension needs to be dark and scary, a more grusome (maybe not terribly grusome) version of The End. It needs powerful mobs that can only be defeated by the most powerful weapons.
